Welcome to the Scottish Coal Industry Special Welfare Fund (SCISWF) Website.
The Scottish Coal Industry Special Welfare Fund is an independent Scottish Charity administered by Mining Trustees and Serviced by CISWO (The Coal Industry Social Welfare Organisation).
The Fund continues to flourish thanks to the direct contributions and support of the Miners’ Welfare Schemes and those employed in the Scottish Coal Industry.
Their voluntary contributions together with income received from investments have combined to ensure there are ongoing funds to support many of those individuals and Organisations with a direct mining connection and who are in genuine need of financial assistance.
